Fury V Klitcksko Rematch May The 7Th Germany

Gnasher yes it is a division with a severe lack of talent as you say but surely and I,m asking you this as someone who knows a lot more about boxing than most on here, out there somewhere there has to be dare I say it, boxers who have,nt a lot of fights under there belts but would surely beat Tyson, forget the knocking pikeys etc ...he is a bum , where are all the young hungry American heavyweights ? Super heavyweights ? I don,t know the answer myself but they must surely be out there.

When you look at the average big athletic guy walking the streets they are what 6ft 2 - 6 ft 4 ?.......14 - 16 stone ?.......that is a " heavyweight " fighter of recent years.......but today it simply isnt big enough and so guys of that size ( of which there are loads ) dont really have any place in boxing as they are too big for cruiserweight and not big enough for todays heavyweights.......lets be honest how many guys do you see walking round the streets at 6 ft 9 ?......it is an extremely large size for any athlete but for a fighter it is freak size..........even an average fighter with reasonable athleticsm is hard to beat at that size and so unless the sport reflects the evolution of human beings with a higher weight division i cant see anything changing from the last 10 years of a size dominated heavyweight division severely lacking in quality at the highest level......dont forget we now have this 7 ft Chinese mush on the way now as well........the gulf in actual boxing ability and class between fighters of different weight divisions like Golovkin and Fury is almost embarrassing i guess its just a poor era for heavyweight boxing that will probably get worse before it gets better.

Rematch will take place in Germany on May the 7th if you ask my opinion fury schools Wvlad again but Germans rob him this time as klitcksko makes a lot of money in Germany judges may have scores of to

I hope its a fight this time.

yep. ill be in the bar

Fury didnt win 11 rounds out of 12 he won by 3 rounds on the judges cards in what was a very poor heavyweight fight he did enough to win and thats what counts.....as for whether he is 6 ft 9 its the 85 inch reach that guys are going to struggle with he can keep it long and has the strength to tie opponents up on the inside......it doesnt make for exciting fights but its effective.

Is 6ft9 Pawkies? I mean like the guy who says hes has a 12 incher and thats most of us  ...hes a big lump for sure but i dont think he looks 6ft9 thats why i had a google and found this ...what u think ? http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/wladimir-klitschko-tyson-fury-is-not-6ft-9ins/

Have a look at pre-fight press conferences, then look at the actual fight.

Spot the difference.

Furys camp were saying Wlad had packing in his shoes as they both looked same size at weigh in and I sort of laughed it off,and they did look same size to be fair and everybody was questioning if Fury really was 6'9" ! However when they got in the ring Fury was a lot taller than Wlad so there was substance to what Furys camp was saying and the other gamesmanship Wlads camp had tried. The fight was poor but this is boxing and while Furys style may not have been fan friendly it worked and he won the Heavyweight Title of the World. I can only see one way Wlad can do things different in the rematch but I think Fury already has him broken down mentally. Wlad is used to fighting smaller opponents and his style was jab jab straight right hug/tie them up but he couldn't do this against Fury so in the rematch Wlad is going to have to go back to his more aggressive style (pre Corrie Sanders) and try to stop Fury as he knows he can't out box him. Will this work for Wlad or will this style play into Furys hands and Fury stops him this time just like Sanders .

that's it gnash (if) he can tie them up inside ?, we know he got the reach . If fury ever fights Haye or AJ , he will deff have to fight of the jab, because Haye / AJ would deff knock him out if they got to him 100%

Fury beat Klitchko at his own game.....for years Klitchko dominated with his size and risk free boxing from range......going on Fury,s earlier career i thought the first opponent he met near his own size would beat him but his style has changed massively he is now doing to good effect what Klitchko did but probably slightly better as although his jab isnt as good he is more athletic and has faster feet than Klitchko......earlier in his career Fury was getting in punch ups with opponents but now he is using his sheer size and fighting behind his jab it will take speed/precision to beat him.....which funny enough both Haye and Joshua have in abundance......its an awful division where older fighters who fight like old time club bouncers are being touted as " prospects " and young fighters who are fighting dead bodies to creep up the rankings are being touted as " prospects "..........im not particularly fussed which one of them does it but you would think an English fighter should be able to unify the division quite comfortably over the next few years.

i think a lot of people are underestimating fury, he dealt with klitchko comfortably where as haye made an exibition of himself sore toe or not and aj is a good prospect but not quite at the level of fury.

Haye did fight the better of the two brothers.
