downsouth 7,313
No ones interested in belts these days it's all namesIf thats the case theres nothing stopping Fury having a non title bout. But what big names are going to fight him in a non title fight. Im sure Haye would.....or Dillian Whyte....and thats just in England im sure theres plenty if the money was right........when a fighter claims he wants to stay active he,s not going to be fighting big names all the time.maybe but if he beat Haye everyone would say he's picked a small oponent who hasn't had a proper fight in 3 yrs and if he beat Whyteleafe they'd say he's only beat someone who AJ had already beat.It doesn't seem to matter what he does he gets knocked for it. He,s the champion mate he can do what he likes.....what the general public thinks is irrelevant if the numbers add up and it makes sense to all concerned then you have a fight......Fury got away with murder as a contender some of his choice of opponents were a disgrace but you get away with it at that level its only as a world champion your level of opponent is put under the microscope......and rightly so.....but you can still only fight whats out there and he is in a division with a severe lack of talent so you would like to think he will keep active. TUFFTY 1,476
Tufty you really are coming across as a bit of a tit. You obviously don't like Fury and to be fair I didn't for a while but he's grown on me.At the end of the day he's beat the man nobody else could and it was in a written contract that he had to fight him again. He didn't give up the IBF belt because he wanted to fight vlad again he gave it up because he had to fight him again. . Is that so crustyPmsl So who was it saying he wants to unify the titles then? Bob Dylan? On no crusty forgot that bit. It was tyson fury. Twat Belts dont matter Like feck. Super heavyweights ? I don,t know the answer myself but they must surely be out there.
Greengrass 201
If there was a half wide American promoter out there he would grab someone coming out the amateurs and after looking at the big p***y say ....I' lol take a chance on having a go at him and bring some big coloured chap over here , nothing ventured nothing gained. Where's Don Fooking king when you need him

So why is one a tit tonight then? I don't think it matters what Fury achieves in his career you don't like him and some how you will be looking for a reason to knock him.Lets be real it doesn't matter who holds the belts or what belts mean more Fury beat the man to beat. Also he dropped the IBF belt because he was contracted for a rematch not because he didn't want to defend the belt. Its only on threads about Fury that you come across as a bit of a tit the rest of the time you come across as a sound sort of a fella so please don't take offence at that comment. TUFFTY 1,476
Downtsouth, but it is the belts. Hence the heavyweight champion of the world. How can someone fight for the heavyweight championship if there's nothing there? The heavyweight champion of the?
downsouth 7,313
Ok let's say it's all about the belts. He held 3 which he won from a superchampion. He had to drop the IBF belt which we've gone over and I'm sure in time he'll want to fight for the other but the bottom line is he is contracted to a rematch.Im pretty sure if he broke the contract the very same Fury haters who never gave him a chance against wlad would be on here saying he was lucky the first time and was scared to fight him again. If AJ had done what Fury has done he'd have people lining up to kiss his arse.

I think calling Klitchko a 'super champion' is stretching the truth a bit. He was a very average champion, in an era of less than average heavyweights. Plus he was way past his prime.
Lenmcharristar 9,802
I can see klit knocking fury out this time for he has nothing to lose, so no point in hugging him for 12 rounds

I hope that boring c@nt doesn't get the belts again, aside from the Fury and Sanders fight I don't think I've ever watched one of his to the end.
AKA-BRINDLE 879
As Fury is contracted to have a re-match with Klitschko you can bet its in that contract that neither can fight anyone else before then...title or otherwise...if my memory serves me right it was roughly 6 months between the Lewis-v-Rahman rematch... so maybe thats a standard time limit in a rematch clause...despite the outcome of the last fight...i dont think Klitschko should be taken lightly
