Just interested in these lighter pellets now so after honest views 1 Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,562
Hi mate, ok,- My shooting is mostly .177 and has always been Air Arms Fields diablo 8.4 grain.( this last few years only). I try and avoid "RANGE" like the plague, air gunning, because if your field craft, (most unspoken topic),is worth a light, you will never need more than 30 - 35 yds in most circumstances. ( i did say most) and FAC air is pointless, if you are any good, at "Field Craft". An air rifle up to 50 yds and more is a most effective way of vermin control and utterly quiet to the surrounding countryside. "Forget range, think field craft" ! Bettering my quarry by getting real close, is the trump card, in hunting with air guns. atb 1 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,035
Just had a delivery of two tins, Falcon Accuracy Plus .177 today and had a play a few minutes ago. I sent a mag (14) through the HW, then had a go at the target although I know the gun needs leading up, just wanted to see what they are like. My cottage garden is only 15mts so not really a true test but nevertheless it was a start until I can get time to go to the range. One thing, it was bloody cold...................... The top hole is a 4 pellet group with the cross hairs on the centre and the lower group is a mildot hold under and a 10 shot group. I am quite pleased with that for a start up. For some reason I cannot rotate the image........................sorry. Phil Edited January 21, 2016 by philpot 1 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,035
You zipped another post in before I posted my smileys Mac. I would normally use plain paper / card but the targets were the first thing I picked up and it was so cold, I had no intention of staying out long.
