Who do you go to, to get a buisness plan drawn up, accountant?

IMO you should write your own. No-one knows as well as you do what your ideas are. Have a look at some of these templates and see if they inspire you.

I done a few weeks with a lovely woman from "WISE" (ways into self employment) and over a few weeks she helped me draw up a realy good 40 odd page business plan ect..and as I then had that I applied for all kinds of funding,most of it was too hard to get IE lots of pissing about. but I did get my trailer test paid for off one grant that would have cost £790

 

edit to say...the "wise" thingy was free and only a hour a week

Lol. No. But it's exactly what i'm considering at the moment, hence the handy link.

 

I'm going to get advice from an accountant that specialises in my idea, then write my own business plan.

I'm sure he would, but he'd use a template and get you to fill in the blanks and charge you for the privilege. Give it a try yourself first.

Something like that mate, its too show a goverment body, so they help me with a few extra quid when i start up.

Ah ok I think I get ya.

 

A couple of friends of mine years ago got some help from the Princes Trust, for the same thing.

 

In my 20's I made enquires about help for setting up my pest control business, I was already working so they werent really any help, but remember they was wanting to know the ins and outs of a ducks arse just from the first chat! I would think easier today with the likes of google.
