Pro's And Cons Of Leaving The Eu

Recommended Posts

No country, and certainly not Britain will be kicking people out..there will have to be some agreements made or economies and communities everywhere will suffer....we pay these people enough to be able to work out agreements with trade, ex pats and workers...

If they want to throw there toys out of the pram and create problems then are these the people we want to deal with anyway...

Ex pats living abroad could claim their UK pensions out there...we will be saving so much money the cost isn't an issue....I don't see the issue at all

It is all hypothetical any way, as we are not leaving the EU. Too many fingers in too many pies for that to happen. This is what I think will happen. We will have a referendum, but prior to the refere

A very sensible reply  I think a lot of folk don't realise just how drawn out all the negotiations after an out vote will be. So many new treaties etc would need to be drawn up and new agreements made made about current immigrants. It will take years and God knows how much it will all end up costing!

I guess it comes down to whether you think it's all worth it all for something that will mostly likely end up having no noticeable impact on your day to day life.

I can't see an out vote happening anyway to be honest unless there's a big public opinion changing event close to the referendum date. The status quo nearly always wins in referendums, the average man on the street doesn't like change.

The problem people have not addressed yet, and is one of the main reasons people state is the reason they want to leave the EU. Is their laws, we are governed by them. Do they think that if we leave the EU that those laws will cease to exist? We will still be governed by the same laws as they are written in our stature. Yes, they will be able to be changed if the politicians decide it is worth their while doing so?

It is all hypothetical any way, as we are not leaving the EU. Too many fingers in too many pies for that to happen. This is what I think will happen. We will have a referendum, but prior to the referendum all issues of discontent will be sought out, promises made that these issues will be renegotiated. "Once new terms have been negotiated we will have our own way of life again". The sheep will fall for the rhetoric and we will be in the same place we are now.
