The right want in to keep the cash cow going, why struggle along trying to manipulate one country at a time and without the advantage of being able to blame Brussels?

 

The left want to stay in because they want the common people to unite, they think unity of the workers is the way they'll defeat capitalism eventually, and on the face of it liberal lefty's run the EU, if you overlook the financial side of things anyway, which is run capitalist style, leeching money out, and giving little back, wonder where its all going

 

Its simple, anyone who wants in is your enemy. I follow my Dads thoughts, its very simple...........Vote against anything a tory wants, they'll never do anything for the ordinary Joe..........Iv'e amended that a bit now to.............Vote against anything the tories or labour want, they'll never do anything for the ordinary white Joe.

I also agree with most of what you say, but you seem to be confusing the conservative's corporatism with capitalism ...

 

 

 

Capitalism is just the natural order of society. People making a product or providing a service for either payment or in return for another product or service.

 

It's what we have been doing for thousands of years until some c**t in the 19th century decided he could bend human nature into something his idiology wanted, communism or it's watered down version socialism.

Of course it has never worked and never will do.

It has led to more death than any other idiology, in proportion to it's time in existance.

 

Bullshit..........................When was the last time any capitalist system was run fairly, with everyone playing within the rules. Modern capitalism is run for corporate gain.............and always at the expense of 99% of the general population................The last global recession being a perfect example. Not that we do ourselves any favours.............We cut our own throats through consumerism..............We cant stop riding the roller coaster to our own demise. People who camp outside of shops when a new iphone or some other shitty crap we don't need just to be the first owners need culling, the world would be a better place, or maybe a f***ing "common sense" app would get through to them?

Shepp, its a shame you didn't get a chance round the great plague, the effects on society, and free markets are very interesting, well worth a look.

 

 

The "trickle down system" we've been following since the thatcher era, even the super rich, barring one group, know its going to end in tears, they'd sooner be the not so super rich in a fairer society than lose absolutely everything, and they will given enough time, but even their hands are tied by the main players.

 

If you want to live in a dog eat dog, unhappy society fair enough............that's how you'll most likely live out your live's anyway, people cant see the wood for the trees on the whole, you're not alone. Personally iv'e gone from one end of the spectrum to the other, but had the sense to keep some of the better ideas on board (imo) its all open to debate.

And again you're splitting hairs Rags...................My point is, the capitalists have hijacked corporatism, its just another way of blagging the many for the interests of a few really, corporatism still only benefits the minority, although it benefits more than true capitalism. The tops dogs need underlings to make corporatism work, as you get lower down the benefits become less and less, the individuals/boards at the top still take the lions share by far, and when it goes wrong they don't have to stand alone, shit always rolls downhill mate, its cooperative capitalism at best. Maybe a simplistic way of looking at it, but its just less individualistic than capitalism...........and that's only because the top dogs get a lot of benefits by casting a few crumbs downwards. The real b*****ds are often middle management, the top dogs are from top dogs, don't expect anything else from them, middle management get there by stabbing their own in the back, that's my thinking anyway.
