The right want in to keep the cash cow going, why struggle along trying to manipulate one country at a time and without the advantage of being able to blame Brussels?   The left want to stay in beca

As usual and as expected Born Hunter, a great reply and I couldn't disagree with any of it. Myself, I take a more simplistic view, what we have is very bad.....and yes, what we get may be worse......

OUT and be doing my utmost to make freinds family or anyone that will listen to do the same

My heart says go, no negotiation, no f***ing about, just go........ any compromise is futile.

But I have a lot of reading and thinking to do before I'm willing to risk my countries future on what my heart wants.

Probably the most sensible answer there

However I can't help feeling how could it be any worse so in dragons den style I'm going to have to say.. I'm out!

Thank you. I agree entirely, it does seem obvious. But if my choice is to have any negative consequences then I consider it my duty to be aware of them as much as is possible beforehand. It's too easy to just be ignorant. Even if I knew now that it was the right choice, I still want to understand the implications.

I'd like to see a change in the way the EU works so that we can remain in for trade and commerce, and have some degree of unhindered travel within europe as long as it does not increase the risk of terrorism. Everything else should be our business.

However I can't see that the Government would get us out of the EU even if there is a majority NO vote in the referendum.

There was a greek guy on tv the other day, being interviewed about UK leaving,he said while it may be a big deal to brits to the other members of the EU its trivial, dont bluster, dont make demands,if you want to go close the door quietly once you exit,a bigger concern is whats going to happen to the 1,000,000 polaks once we pull out,and the rest of europes ex-pat whatevers that have set up camp here.

Out means I'll have a shitload of paperwork to do.... so be it ;)

As for remaining in for business, HA! Blighty is one of the biggest consumers in Europe do you really think they will risk all that cheddar? When it comes to a pound note these snakes will go with the line of least resistance. If a majority vote out then they will find a new way to keep the gravy train chugging along ;)
