Hands of Stone 154
Unless you have loads of permission i'd try a lurcher. I go out with a pack of harriers as much fun as it is, its a far less stressful to walk the same land with a couple of lurchers and do the same job in a different way Quote Link to post

Hands of Stone 154
Years ago I had a first cross collie greyhound and although she wasn't great at killing foxes, she would hunt them up and hassle them till they dropped in on a regular basis. for that reason alone she was far more use as a terrier mans lurcher than a big strong bull cross 1 Quote Link to post

Daniel cain 44,947
I'm not to sure,I was told he's wheaton/coll/sal/grey x bull/grey/foxhound,he's gonna be a big lad,had him out to socialise with local pack and they seemed to accept him lol, don't think he be catching many rabbits mind,if he marks, runs them in and catches the bolters I be over the moon with him,he's back up for my little beddy/bull/grey bitch and terriers, spend till next season getting him 100%with stock and see how he goes, fingers crossed I got a good feeling about him.he's quiet in kennel and very mellow around my other dogs and the kids-added bonus is my wife loves him,so even if he's shit he get out with the girls when they riding.atb dc 1 Quote Link to post
