Zimpara 99
I pop in now and again when trying new pellets they might only have. Got a tin of RWS superfield .22 off the shelf. Rather dinged so sorted through them all and couldn't fond any mint ones (one actually had a rip in the tin...) . Asked if they had any undinged tins in the back and had a comeback of here's the best we have in the back-its the best you're gonna get. Still didn't look good but bought them. Took them home, then went to zero and ended up throwing out over my shoulder 4 bad pellets to every good one. I mean bad as in smashed, not just nicked. Here's what I salvaged after sorting them for an hour. And I was being generous towards the end otherwise I'd have had less than half. Happened three weeks ago and was unsure to say anything on here but I've just found the half full tin of rejects and it miffed me. Free standing pellets are suitable. Less than 100pellets out of 500. Poor show. Quote Link to post
jonnie bravo 572
Well bugger me, superfields are some of the most consistent pellets I've had my hands on, so they must have really f****d up somehow. Take em back, ask for refund, when they say no it's time to play 1000 pellet pickup 3 Quote Link to post
Zimpara 99
I got some super fields from another store and they were magnificent. What I use in the tx when I have them. 1 Quote Link to post
bilbobagins 92
Think I would have left the tin at the shop in the first instance, would not have bought them, used superfields a lot an never had any bad ones 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Take them back , not fit for purpose 1 Quote Link to post
random 659
Take them back , not fit for purpose That's the one, they have to be and these apparently are not! And as said if they are not obliging then they could be "accidentally" dropped all over the shop 1 Quote Link to post
random 659
And this was three weeks ago? You must be a chilled dude as most would have gone straight back with steam coming out their ears! Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,558
Go back and complain. Don`t accept them. atb Quote Link to post
just-A-snap 1,269
More than likely a Gray import, who knows? But they are Twats. After getting exchange or full refund I would in this case get in touch with the manufacturer and importers to inform them of this particular shops attitude with this product and the bad batch that was sold to you. 1 Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,800
Zim did you pay full price for them or was there a discount as the tins were damaged atvbmac  Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
The fact that they had a job lot of damaged tins suggests they have bought a heap at a big discount, take them back complain, demand a refund/exchange as is your consumer right, if they are knobs about it, spill the lot on the floor, dont spend any money in there again Quote Link to post
Zimpara 99
I think they bought a damaged batch cheap and are selling at rrp. Good for them, not so good for me which turns out to be not so good for them business wise Edited January 15, 2016 by Zimpara Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Sale Of Goods Act means if you are not happy that these pellets are found to be substandard condition and unfit for purpose, you can demand replacement or refund. Simple as that! Quote Link to post
