Learn all your big compound lifts and do full body workouts you will burn and dont skip legs there the most important calorie burner. If you learn all your compound lifts and train them your whole posture will change and even if your a big lad you will go from looking like an ordinary guy to someone who lofts quickly just by the way you carry yourself.

be honest pal I been hitting the gym for over two years now , and I would advise you too loose the weight by doing a weight routine which will burn fat but will start bulking you after a while , 15 -2

Dai you need to lose the weight first before bulking up on protein powders ... Plenty of cardio and light weights with high reps ... That way you will lose weight and tone up at the same time ... Once

Supplements won't do anything that a properly managed diet doesn't. You don't have to take protein shakes, they're purely for convenience. Far more important to get your calories and nutrients balanced in your diet.

Definitely easier than shovelling chicken breast and eggs an tuna down ya Gregory that's for sure!! If I'm at work some days I ain't got time to do f**k all else so knocking up a shake that is a guaranteed 50g protein is a bloody god send not just a convenience.

It's funny, everybody has no time untill they want to make time. Protein shakes are just convenience, unless you actually like them, then it's a choice of the tastiest ways of sourcing your protein requirements. The point I was making is that they are not some necessary magical training need. They're a convenient, and to some tasty, way of balancing your diet. Not essential, that belief is just good marketing.

You can't help carrying a few pounds dai,those finest Scottish venison burgers are to blame ,

And for a big bloke you can shift a bit lol

Keep at it mate ,as when the nipper fits in his T'shirt you'll need to be a bit fitter as you'll be carrying all his rabbits lol

And as for the protein ...as said " my protein " is a cracking site but no need for all the fancy stuff until you are lean and mean lol
