mark williams 7,556
Welcome RR On a personal note, i have always had sling swivels fitted to my rifles by my gunsmith for what it costs, as in "drilling the butt" . If we "cock up" we are stuck with it ! If the gunsmith does this small job, we are not. atb ( all the best) Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
Hi RR you will need some like these or the like http://www.unclemikes.com/accessories/rifle-swivels/22-tube-magazine-full-band the 95/99 will need a bigger size,as it will attach to the barrel, the 97 however will need a smaller size as it connects to the underlever. to stop things slipping,i would put a small layer of inner tube ,to stop it sliding. i have used electrical tape, but when the weather gets hot,it tends to move as the adhesive softens, since using the rubber inner tube i have had no problem. fitting to the stock is pretty easy, think there is YT vids to look at,you might want to use a poxy resin ,just to add that extra security. have a look around google RR as you may find cheaper/local to you. hope this helps 1 Quote Link to post
