dankay123 33
Hi lads Anyone got any info on patterdale x Jrt as a cross. I dot do any earth work but been offered a 14month bitch for free. It has done nothing apart from a rat. I want it for bushing/ratting and ferreting. It's a steady thing not daft. After some opinions. Cheers in advance Quote Link to post
johnrussell84 2,832
My mate bred a litter off them few years back now they turned out handy dogs, like most things out the effort in up get the rewards. For bushing and ratting it should be just fine 2 Quote Link to post
Rattingman85 1
I own a patt X JRT and she's best terrier I've ever owned, smashing ratter, very short coat, bushes like a trooper through the thickest cover brambles, blackthorn etc. Doesn't bat an eyelid, will dig to China if she has to. Fantastic recall too, the only bad side is she's feisty with dogs she doesn't know at first. But I wouldn't sell her for all the money in the world, she suits me just fine! But a dog is only as good as its owner 1 Quote Link to post
