charlie caller 3,654
http://www.yorkshirefalconry.org.uk/index.html How about these guys in Wakefield mate? Slow down lad go to a meeting, explain you are a novice, I guarantee you will get all the help you need, they will suggest books dvd's and may even have some to lend you, it all sounds like a black art, but its not really, all you need is help, maybe go on a meet with them and watch and learn, do NOT be afraid to ask questions, we all had to start somewhere, attend the summer events and learn more,in the meantime, any books by Martin,Hollinshead are a great start, and have a look at the modern apprentice, just google modern apprentice falconry, good luck buddy. 2 Quote Link to post
Thomas Breul 21
Trick to not looking stupid or sounding stupid is to be yourself. Be new and excited. Dont pretend you have knoledge you dont have. Ask questions like crazy. If i may ask...how old are you? Anx do you have transportation to hunting permission. If your young and dont...thats fine too. Get with peeps who will help. Wish you were by me here in the states. Id be glad tp take you out and talk birds. 4 Quote Link to post
