This particular bit only floods well once every couple of years but always attracts good numbers of geese and duck. We have had a few outings and nailed a few. Saturday saw us up early doors and waiting for the birds to move. I always love the sound of cock wigeon, a duck not normally associated with these parts and a big pack of maybe 50 plus were on a field just behind us.
