Lloyd57 98
I use the Nitesite NS50 and the Nitesite Viper can't fault them. Lloyd 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Cant stand TV screen NV units but these are the best IMO No wires , keep them in your jacket pocket only takes about 40 seconds to set up 8 hour usage on a charge can fit a recording device http://www.nightvisionstore.co.uk/ward-d-vision-700-digital-night-vision-c2x14686536 Quote Link to post

Alimac2 321
Tree creeper, it'll go through the business so fairly flexible, don't want to spend fortunes, but I also don't won't to buy crap that ul regret.. Il have a look at the others mentioned. Quote Link to post
philpot 5,020
I bought an add on via ebay, very well put together but if I am totally honest, I wish I had not bought it but at £200, it does the job and will have to do until I can buy a PROPER NV. As VM says, he can't stand TV screen systems and I understand now what he means, very tricky to get hand-to-eye co-ordination, doesn't feel natural although many people do use them. Judging by the info on the Ward D-700, it is quite small so perhaps it will fit on the scope and without having to move the scope forward, still be a comfortable system to use. Certainly looks a neat little unit. Phil Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
I don't mind the screen tbh prefare it to my gen1, but I didn't have a big budget about 100 quid lol and it was something to do, if anything ever goes wrong I can sort it myself cheap. I havnt really used much too compare tbh but for add on id go with vms suggestion or build your own. Maybe someone local can let you have a butcher's before you spend your brass. 1 Quote Link to post

Phil You right Phil , no need to move the scope at all , the eye relief stays the same as your eye touches the rubber eye piece , this unit with the new sunblack IR and the right scope is fantastic http://www.nightvisionstore.co.uk/black-sun-b20-ir-illuminator-c2x17313859 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,020
Have you got one or had one Mitch because I know you spoke very highly of the product to me and on the forum. I really do like the idea of this and being able to swap from one gun to another as you would with any add-on unit but with a quality that appears to be much better than most, well not including your Pulsar of course. I have the Hawke Varmint 4-16 x 44, pretty common so I'm guessing it would be suitable. Phil Edited January 11, 2016 by philpot Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
That's another point you need to check your scope if your going add on as some are better than others due to the coatings on the lens etc, and you will need AO. Spot on about the scope , I put mine on the Airmax SF 30 absolutely fantastic ,so my mate got the airmax ,same as mine so he could use my Ward 700 but very grainy image , the cheaper scopes seem to be better put it on a £30 niko sterling scope and that was just as good as my Airmax !! 1 Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
Mine's on a panorama which works fine, God knows how far it can see and I'm not even using the e700 camera which is meant to be better still. 1 Quote Link to post
