A Few More Hours At The Range

Recommended Posts

Well me and vis went to the range again yesterday

just for a few hours with the pro sport 177 and the tx200 177

we took the hw100 along but i did not get mine out of the bag as i was having to much fun with the pro sport

shooting out to 33 yards with both rifles

groupings could of been better but it was fecking cold but all in the 5p zone

so well happy as you only need one in the kill zone out in the field

got to say this pro sport is some thing else

love it

but still love my 22,s as well

Nice shooting lads !

To be blunt - every single shot, including the odd flyers, is a rabbit in the bag from both guns

How would you feel if you went hunting, was presented with 6 opportunities, or static hunting with that accuracy on top of a set of quality shooting sticks and took all shots home in the bag ? (dense branches, key hole shooting)

Stay converted lads, - shot placement far out trumps any little extra power.( for me) anyway, :good:

Here we go :snack:

How do you actually use your tx mark when using it with sticks then? I'm just wondering. The back of hand on the sticks so to speak?

Nice Mac. Made a video yet to edit today actually, twenty two, same size groups, I know you'll understand :)

Yes i prefer hand contact over the sticks, - does that help you ?

Just trying to imagine it. Sticks, back of hand within the gap or groove or what ever it's called, rifle in hand? I suppose with springer shooting being so awkward at times, and the fact you can't lie the rifle on anything tough so to speak, I wouldn't mind trying them myself but can't imagine using them.

Do you zero with the sticks? Assuming so.
