Im not 100% but could be a variety of rhododendron

Could explain why it never did so well the owner says I'm sure they do better in aricated soil is this correct

ericaceous, there a lime hating plant

Asked at work today and there sure its a variety of choisya ternata ..

Looks like it from the Google identification needs good sunlight maybe why where it is is a 8 foot wall and a house in complete shade I'll tell the customer and maybe move it thanks chid
