johnrussell84 2,831
Yeh mate this year the earths that usually hold have looked dead. Putting them out cover on most occasions. Seeing them in the lamp but not to ground strange one Quote Link to post

I took a walk to a wasteland but between the streets an asda an had bolted 5 out off four earths within the hour. Like u say the temps don't help always mild. Up here rabbits etc are scarce so easier food in the towns 1 Quote Link to post

Grunter123 1,109
Well it was back to the woods yesterday, and it turned up trumps again,I was a little bit conserned about the depth of this set as we had never Been to it before,I had checked it out two week back and it's on a steepish bank, but the young guns were full of digging so we netted up and loseed the little black bitch as fast as I unleashed the bitch she was gone.we sat back and waited 20 mins could not here a thing, so I got the knocker box flicked on and start paddling round she was at 4 foot I smiled to myself,it's 11 foot lads they looked at each other and laught they were not fazed by the depth I had mislead them to believe the bitch to be at but embraced the idea of a good dig(the joys of youth) they soon could her the bitch going about her work, they stopped and looked at me I smiled,we were a foot or two off the mark and had to dig to the right,we broke through to the side of the bitch a nice fox we back filled and moved off, to a small earth not more than yards were old boy was let lose a short dig and another one accounted for.and a happy farmer 4 Quote Link to post

fat man 4,741
Thats what its all about, terrier working well and a bit of craic thrown in aswell, some lads take it way too seriously and make it look like a days work than a day out with like minded lads. 7 Quote Link to post
Grunter123 1,109
Couldn't agree more and some lads on here seem to take things to heart when the terrier game should be like minded lads having a good day out and a lot of banter to boot lol,if you catch or not it's about getting out and enjoying the countryside the fresh air and as fat man says the crack ..... 5 Quote Link to post
