Got a new sixty acre wood to check out last week so plans were made for today to remove a pheasant kill or two, I had walked it last week and noted a few spots in the woodland. So terriers boxed up and off we go,drove up into wood and walked down to the set with old boy and black bitch 30yards from first hole he started pulling I smiled to myself.

I was expecting a good day as just on the out skirts of the wood is a very large waste site.this is a very large set coving a big area , quick check with the old knocker box and away he went skipped over the first three or four holes then gone ten mins past then a large fox hit the net fat As butter quickly removed and net reset,happy he had a run out I put him on the chain and let her off and then sat back 20 mins and marked her at 5foot so time for the young guns to take up the spades lol,broke through to another in a tight rabbit pipe,the lads wanted to carry on but I called it a day and away home getting to old lol ,log burner and Yorkshire puddings where calling

Could not tell ya mate lol sorry I was stuck for a dog 6.5 years ago saw it some were for sale I think it might of been perloved or one of them £350 at Leeds,Bradford area so I drove throw with daughter, she liked it I was not struck but paid lad and took me chances ,o yeah it was called Gary it was about 6,7 months old ,so I changed its name and give it a go, it was out of working stuff lad said ?? But never let me down he has been a good dog
