runem 533
How deep can we dig really lads ? Come on let's hear them and see some pics? deep digs fact or fiction,,,,,,,,,,if you have worked terriers for a few years ,you would know the answer yourself. My deepest dig just over 16 ft,went back to car to get my camera came back five minutes later and the hole had collapsed in,,i was very lucky not to be killed. On a different note it was in the days of the old clicker boxes,it could not pick up the dog at that depth, however i could hear the dog steadily baying with my ear to the ground. 4 Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 45,247
We have dug past 6 m on the bell man a few times, nasty spots we would love them aĺl to be 2 footers, lol,a good dog knows no limits/depth imo.couldn't give two fucks for the non believers, not that it needs proving but a few lads on here where there shifting dirt while the armchair hunters on thl where getting threads locked lol I've waited a long time for them c**ts to be found out, seems now the truth has come out thanks to a real dogman tree hands respect.atb dc Edited January 12, 2016 by Daniel cain 18 Quote Link to post

Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Deepest successful dig was 16 foot with a jcb to one of my dogs. Like has been said theyre dangerous for man and dog and not something i'd enjoy doing every week or even every month. Quote Link to post
jake824 517
We had done a few spots and dropped a dog in a place on the way home . Never no more than 1.7 here my mate said. Box was reading 4.8 to 5.1 . One lad headed off home saying he had to get back and the keeper sat and watched me and my mate. We broke through to the dog just after 11pm. FairPlay to the keeper he did back fill with with the under keeper for us. Quote Link to post

hjckcff 1,738
ive had a fair share of hard digs but rarely have they gone deeper than 6 ft. the average around me would be between 3/4 ft. only twice in my lifetime have i had to step a hole and i could count on one hand the times i have had to dig deeper than my hight, most of the deeper holes here are in bankings. these are generally the easy bolts if done right. and i do prefare to bolt . even from the famous scottish two footers Quote Link to post
