Hi guys,

I've got the hw100 and looking at getting a bipod for it, from what i've read so far it seems the Harris makes are popular, was thinking of a 9-13', any advice or suggestions would be appreciated as this is the first bipod I've bought!

Also do I need an adaptor for it- Ive seen some online and not 100% sure?! I will include a picture of what ive seen online and of my gun...

I have the 9-13 Harris on my 100, had it about 2/3 years, no complaints.

thanks :) does it attach to the little mount bit under the gun or does it need an adaptor?

Mine clips onto the sling stud at the front, and the sling clips onto the stud on the Harris pod.

When I bought my HW, the RFD popped a sling stud on the gun replacing the stock bolt so no extra holes and I bought a Deben 6-9'' tilt bipod. Very pleased but had I seen some feed back on Airgun forum first with a number of guys using cheap ones from ebay AND being very happy with them, I would have saved the cash and tried one of those saving £50.

I have however heard that some guys have had issues with using this type of stock stud causing accuracy problems although I have had no such problems.

Mine is a deben 9-13" and I find it spot on height wise, for me anyway and I'm around 6'2" so don't know if that helps? I bought it for golf course shooting to keep above the grass, fairway and rough,it doesn't tilt so can't comment on the benefits of those, the front stock screw is replaced by a stud which screws in its place as the forestock is quite thin wood so not ideal for drilling one into, though I've read about it being done ok? They are great to use as the stability added a notable distance to my kill range, quick and easy to use as well, although mine fits the stud quite tight and is fairly hard to get back off! Let us know when you decide and how you get on with it...

If you need a QD stud for your hw100 like the one in your pics that screws into the existing stock bolt hole I have one spare. i bought it for my hw100 but I have a cs700 stock on mine and the stud isn't compatable with that stock. pm me your address and ill post it to you FOC.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I will search around then and see if I can find one I like and that has good reviews!

Yeah that is helpful thanks Random, I'm 6' so I'm sure that will be about right for me too. There's no way I'd want to drill the stock, fair play to those who do but knowing my luck id ruin it, and considering the price of the gun thats not something I'm willing to risk
