I always carry one in my little first aid kit when I go away with the dog. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. What must be worth remembering is that , to work best, a stapler must be used asap before the tear starts to tighten up and granulate. Used correctly a staple can aid healing by a long time, getting the dog back out in the field quicker. But they must be used in conjunction witha bit of sense and the wound clensed, generally with salt water as a first line of defence. 5 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
