Anyone else heard of that. depends where you jab it, say you jabbed it on the tail it won't make a difference but if you jabbed it on the back leg just before a race it would def slow it down, could you run with a dead leg??? And if you gave it an almighty whack on the ribs it would wind it and that would slow it down too lol 3 Quote Link to post
lee 99
It really depends what you are jabbing them with to answer the question Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
A lad I know has just gifted away a decent coursing bitch because he jabbed her to bring her out of season last year and she's never ran the same since. Hormones effect women in strange ways as we all know, lol. 1 Quote Link to post

Lenmcharristar 9,889
What happens to the dogs then ? Is there any other vaccination available Quote Link to post
marshman 7,758
Poxy disease that parvo I think I'd rather a slower dog that was alive than a fast dead one lol 7 Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 46,166
Not jabbing a dog for parvo is lunisy imo, rather it not be so quick than watch it die from parvo or worse still recover and be a f***ing cripple, with all the slippery c**ts importing dogs from Europe with false paper work you got to be a fool not to vacinate against things IMHO, iv'e known lads get cheap jabs, and every pup in litter has died from parvo, plenty of dirty fuckers out there keeping dogs in fitly conditions and jabs not in the fridge,if you to tight to pay 30 quid then you should go get a hamster lol.atb dc 3 Quote Link to post
king 11,984
Just thinking about this now len. If it's right that parvo jabs do slow them down and takes a bit out of them. Then someone could spend big money on a hare dog and take the edge off it just by jabbing it with vaccine. I don't know about other vaccination for the dogs.ive done the bull xs I've got now. but didn't do any other lurchers or staffs I've had in the past. Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
I'm usually slow to ridicule old wives tales because there can often be some truth to them ,but this one IMO is a load of shite. I know many lads who use dogs for different disciplines at top level and because they're responsible dogmen they inoculate. Doesn't stop them winning. 3 Quote Link to post
