Fecking 177

Went to the range to day with my grand son (little hunter)

 

we got set up and the first rifle out was the Pro sport(will not be called the Crow Sport until it gets it first crow)

 

Set it up out to 33 yards at first i hated it dont get me wrong it was pellet on pellet

 

but there was just some thing i did not like so it was put to one side and the hw100 came out 22 now i was at home hitting every thing with it to the point it got boring so i went back to the 177 .

 

Feck me hit every thing with it even the tiniest of spinners

 

Now no one else there could hit these spinners and i hit them shot after shot after shot

 

now i was talking to this guy that was there and he shoots 177 and he say,d to me thats some cracking shooting but can you do it with 22 ?

 

so i got the hw100 back out and what do you no every one shot after shot after shot

 

sent them spinning round

 

So what is best dont ask me as i hit every thing with 177 and hit every thing just the same with 22

 

Now little hunter has not been out shooting for some time his rifles were the ULTRA 22 and the BSA lightening 22

 

feck me you would think he had never been away from it .

 

Then he wanted to shoot the 177 pro sport he just put all of us to shame with it out to 40 50 yards hitting the spinners at that range lol

 

But if im honest i do like the pro sport 177

 

i like it alot

 

next its going to be stripped and polished and a full vmach kit fitted in time for laming season

Could be .177 or .22, at the end of the day it comes down to you paid your money and you think it was well spent. There is nothing like going home and feeling good after a good day with a grandchild or children.

Nice read Mac, it's great to get the kids/grandkids involved and watch them get better and better up to the point when you NEED to leave them at home, getting too good.

I've not really bitten to this .20 chit chat from you but I have now

 

So. You don't see the point in two zero... Because, you "think it's pointless" but. Why choose between 2 when you can have 1...

 

You get heavy 177 or light 22, so get 20.

Rez , i nearly got the 95k in.20 but had the wobbles and chose .22 , never shot .20 , just may be i am missing out but like i have said a good heavy pellet in .177 and a good light pellet in .22 i just cant see the point , May be if they had a bit more of pellet range it could be different . I have put .20 through chair gun many of time and thats why i say about .177 and .22 This is only my opinion but i have seen other's having the same thought .

If it works for you ,that's great , we all like different things

Pro Sport/ T Rex in .177 have a "bit of attitude", - two very, very fine springers Mac

Mate, "hang fire" with the V Mach kit !

Joking aside, your confidence is very strong with the Pro Sport now, your Grand Son has seen you shooting to a high standard and you are enjoying your shooting with both the 100 and the Sport.

 

"Change Nothing" Mate , build your shooting confidence "Even More" !
