Tested the pellets out today lads in a slight breeze, very impressed with the results so far.

Set the zero to smack on 28 yds and all 7 shots were inside a 5p group.

All 7 shots would have been a dead pigeon.Small deflection left a tear to the side of the 5p circle.

The HW 100 ks .22 was zeroed with Air Arms Fields originally but the zero had to be lowered a good inch because of the lighter pellet and flatter trajectory.They hit good and hard too, aswel as being very accurate indeed.

Looks a good pellet in your gun as well Mark ,those groups should tighten up a bit more with more of the falcon lead down it

Well i was a naughty lad Mitch, there was a break in the rain and i went outside and tested a few groups without first cleaning the barrel

 

So YES the groups are bound to tighten after the clean.

I simply bought 1000 whilst at Manchester Air Guns, he said he would send by post on orders of 5 tins minimum but i think Uttings offer the best deals.

I`m sure some of the other lads will tell us if there is anyone better to order from.

I would like to try the .177 but nowhere near me sells them. Every bit of feed back I have read has been good so far and paticularly in HW guns.

Yes mate i am giving the twenty two some "game time" forgive the pun, as well as the .177`s this year.

I`ve built a natural hide exactly 28/30 yds off a well used sitty tree and i`m tempted to try her there

I had a little New years practice with the T Rex .177 as well today, that rifle is an absolute tack driver with "attitude" , - very, very nearly as good as the 100 kt .

Well that`s the HW 100 ks`s barrel cleaned good style- "shinier than a Monk`s knob" now .Ready for leading in tomorrow.
