Not the first time I've heard of dogs "attacking" the owner when having a fit. Maybe they are trying to get the owner to stop or something. Have seen a dog howling at someone and everyone was laughing as they'd never seen the dog howl. Few minutes later blokes on the floor shaking and pissed himself. Rip to the poor bloke, ashame our media will just use it to paint pitbulls in more bad light.

Yet i have seen incidents of dogs protecting owners who have had heart attacks, or collapsed... i think that the dog doesn't understand the actions of a person having a fit....or sees them as aggressive so attacks

there was case where a girl had her face chewed up by her pet lab, think she was either pissed/drugged up at the time.!! my young dog as soft as shit with people/dogs, but if they act strange (screaming ) if he goes to them he will stiffen up a bit, any dog reacts to the abnormal ( fits/ fear )
