My Bitch Has A Cut On Her Stopper

Iv removed her stopper left her rest for 2 months. Took her out the other nite and it has slit open on the third run. Will this keep happening?

No, if you give it long enough, but as you have already found out, it can take f#@*ing ages.

 

When you get the dog going again, keep away from hard or stoney ground (easier said than done) or bandage with vet rap

No but it will take time to heal months maybe, then cotton wool and vet strap every times she runs to pad out her stopper save her from bursting it, as if it's all off they'll be scar tissue that will open easy on hard ground or stoney ground like the fellah above said,

 

So bandage it up every time you run her that would be my option,

Will the vet wrap stop it from opening again. Thrs a wound about 1/2 inch.

My mate had a bitch could leave all summer than soon as he ran bitch come winter would happen again think it was how the batch ran low on stopper but could still catch

Treat it with cut and heal,and give it another couple of mouths.
