Somewhereyournot 1,117
I bored of thinking about it to be honest. He's a pet, he may help me bring on a pup with his hunting ability, but lacks prey drive and is dog aggressive, and is also a c@#t of the highest order. I ask myself the same question weekly if not daily at times, he's on thin ice as I'm working on aggression issues , I won't have him cut as it may not work and as a failed catch dog he'll be relegated to guard dog for the missus who loves him , Atb Joeif he's as bad as that I really wouldn't have him around a pup to influence it. Shame though as it sounds you have a really bad experience. My collie x is soft as shit, only time he goes aggressive if another dog threatens me or him by rushing up barking /growling and worse if I have my daughter with me. Really protective dog but not nasty dog. He is a little sensitive but on the other hand he has a forgiving nature. Got my next collie saturated lurcher in the pipe line, let's hope it don't end up like your experience lol. Atb joe Quote Link to post
