dog collars

i thought this was a intresting so lets her your views, there i was out and about this morning giving the dog a streatch i walk over the park and the dog shoots straight into some bushes maybe shes seen something i aint :blink: so i call her back and nothing i call her agen and still nothing so i stroll over to the bushes were i seen her last, and i can her the leaves being moved and branches being snapped and theres no rabbits or anything for miles i fight my way though to find shes got a fox well more to the point its got her ;) i had no intension of doing this it all happed that quick there she was fighting her little heart out so i gab my dog by the collar trying not to get bit by the fox or my dog in the mix of it. :boxing: just as i grab her and pull her off the fox just looks at me dosent even run just walks of as if nothing had happend and of he went .. :yes: i grabed the collar to put her lead on to find the fox had bit right though it :icon_eek: now if my dog hadent of had a collar on it could have been nasty now to the question do you think thay help or cause more damage then good i have herd people say there dogs neck has been broken cause there collar has got caught on something so lets here your veiws all welcome :thumbs:

 

and lets not turn this into a slanging match ladies :laugh:

when ive seen collars that have had charlie on them they seem to get like scrachers on them not holes .... :whistling: for that to happen it would need to get hold of the backside of the colloar too .... :thumbs: and that dosent happen :D unless off course the charlie has a big mouth and its got the whole off the lurchers head in its mouth .. :laugh::laugh::laugh: if you think about it the holes would be the other way round if a charlie had hold of your dogs throat they wouldnt be that way round :whistling:

Once had a fox bite the Ring part for the lead and just locked on :D Saved the dog being bit I suppose :) Did the dog kill the fox :hmm:

 

 

no she dident wasent the time or the place :no: she isnt built for that anyway but i couldent really avoid it, although its nice to see shes got abit of fight in her :thumbs:

no, trust me on this one if i could avoided it i would have :yes: whats the point in putting a dog on something when you know she carnt kill it on her own and on top of that she always take abit of stick then i have to lay her up for abit to give her chance to heal, and at the end of it what do i do chuck the thing in a bush is it really worth it well not in my opinion if i had a dog built for it yes i would but whats the point in messing up your rabbiting for something you chuck in a bush :thumbs:
