Frontbum 76
When the Putangs were placed the tunnel was over half full of running water, I generally always use Talpex but in this tunnel with all that water I don't think the Talpex would have done the job, so Putang to the rescue. Was pleased with this one as there was no real evidence of this mole as in no hills or push ups, just the small tell tale signs that you get to no. So thanks Clive Happy New Year . HAPPY NEW YEAR to one an all. 3 Quote Link to post
earth-thrower 493
Just out of curiosity, in what type of situation, did you catch this one ? Quote Link to post
MAG1980 116
Ive set mine out on a job the same as yours front bum. Grounds saturated and when you open up a run they are flodded out but i still popped the putanges in them and when i came to check the traps the mole wasnt sodden through. I can only think old mowdy had come down from the higher ground whilst working the runs in search of worms as the water subsided. 1 Quote Link to post
Frontbum 76
Just out of curiosity, in what type of situation, did you catch this one ? Pasture land, this was not to far from a little brook. Farmer had noticed activity in this field but that was further up, I just noticed this mole as crossed the brook on me way back to the motor.
