The title of this thread Brocock/ Daystate compatto was not meant to upset anyone but i did mention my initial thoughts of the gun,- crap.( The rifles accuracy is a completely different story).

I also shouldered an AA s4 10 and it`s feel was streets ahead of the Compatto (for me).

The shop owners mistake, well the only sale he got was pellets and bottle refill.

What about quality of finish? And did you think the action was smooth? A mate is looking at one as an in vehicle gun. I like the idea but hate the look.

Ultra is 3" smaller as well ,BSA R10 supercarbine is only 2" bigger and that includes a mod

The stock kills the gun for me Stealthy, it was appalling! Like holding a kiddies toy gun . Had that stock been a Minneli well the feel would have been totally different again (for me).

Previous Brococks to the Compatto feel far better (to me)

I hated the variable power switch too.

A BSA Ultra is a million miles better for comfort and feel)
