Nice one mate. But to be fair I wouldn't moan at her retrieving if your taking another dog along , because all dogs get abit shy at retrieving with another dog present, unless they are very experienced. Good luck

She'll be on her own for a while now, just a couple of slips on her own then work the other dog after.

Recall was spot on, so I can work on the retrieve

wasnt a dig mate, just saying she did well to even come back with another dog present. Atb

No I knew it wasn't a dig mate, I agree the other dog present wasn't ideal. It was meant to be 1 or 2 slips, but they were clamped tight and I couldn't resist lol.

yep, take the opportunity as they arise mate. Because iv had a lot of nights blanking lol

Great read and a cracking start for youngster, well done mate. It's nice having a steady old dog about you don't even have to talk to, but I can't help looking forward to next pup, I'm hopefully gonna let me lad bring it up and enter it, so really looking forward to it haha lol

I've enjoyed bringing this one on so far mate, my youngest girl has shown the most interest up to now, has a bum bag full of treats, gets her sitting, stay, lay and high five ( that's her favourite lol).

She's been out a few nights at the end just a walk on the lead, flicking the lamp around, been around sheep from 12 weeks, and with me every day at work. I've worked hard on the bonding so it was nice last night that it started well.

Just keep at it now and hope for the best, I already know she's going to be a heart in the mouth type, you can just see it lol

Them rabbits are still frozen mate, fresh out the freezer.... Hehehe

Looks like young ferg is getting all the education she needs, best of luck with her, take em where you can be is my motto, they might not be there next time.

No doubt we'll be seeing a few more write ups before the seasons over.

Cheers, Matt
