.20 Exacts

Afternoon all. I hope christmas and all that went well

 

Got a tin of .20 exacts from the mrs for xmas to use in my HM [Yes, she got me a tin of pellets, among other things]. Up until now, Ive fed it H&N FTT's 5.0 which are ok, but Ive always had the feeling they aren't 100% in the rifle. So asked her to get us a tin... They are tight in the barrel @ 5.1, however, the difference in grouping and consistency is much, much better. The image shows a full magazine of 12 shots, only at 27 yards but Im bloody happy with it.

 

It was a bit windy while shooting but managed to huddle down behind a large hedge so Im hoping the results will be the same on a calm day. We shall see.

 

I dont know if other .20 owners have tried them... But if not, check them out.

looks like you have found the right pellet, what are they like at 30, 35 40 45 50 yards ?

sorry just read again you have only tried at 27 yards ,let us know how you get on at other distances

 

I see .20 jsb are heavier than the pellets i use in .22 ,what are the FPS on the .20 jsb ?

Alright v'man. Will do. The area I was shooting was an enclosed area with an outdoor pool, I was hoping it was the most covered area from the wind and the furthest I could shoot was 27 yards unfortunately. Average FPS this morning was 618 with them.

 

I'll see what it does at longer distances when a calm day occurs. When.

Nice shooting there sir , I do like the sound of .20 it does sound on paper the perfect balance between the tried and trusted 2 cal's ... only time will tell ... ATB

just curiou to know thanks, until joining i imagined the weight of the rifle seprates the men from women. strange sitation as i am male and the sub 12ft lb air wepon calbire of my choice is by far the .177

I cant see it my self ,when you have very good heavy pellets in.177 and very good light pellets in .22 i cant see the point a the .20
