roybo 2,873
my biggest concern with this cross is that jagd are known to be a vocal breed... not a trait i would be looking for in a lurcher personallymy patt x was very vocal ...but it wasn't a dog I'd have used like a lurcher TBH more a quick busher/ferreting companion Quote Link to post

hjckcff 1,738
should do what you want just fine. but i would have wanted it around your mink from around five six weeks old. ive used whippet terrier crosses for similar hunting for years and they are ideally suited. but if you need a good bit of speed a three quarter bred would be better my terrier whippet first cross. indestructable but lacks a gear. 3 Quote Link to post

You cant breed a 3/4 without doing the 1/2 cross first. I think they'll make ideal vermin dogs. 5 Quote Link to post
mushroom 13,203
I'd entertain one for the scrub here so long as it has the terrier coat mind. Bron is torn up from yesterday in the mountains, real tough brush. Quote Link to post

Are border terriers made for flushing game, or for dispatching it underground like a patterdale? Quote Link to post
