Me and vis went back up to the 3000 acre farm to night vis was the first to drop a nice size rabbit at 40 yrds nice head shot

 

I hit one but it was a heart and lung shot it ran but dropped in the long grass and i could not find it so dose not count as if its not in the bag its not yours lol

 

then we went down to the barns but on the way the police were on there way to see us as some one had phoned up to say they had seen brake lights in the fields(red t6 and red t20 lamps )

 

Vis got out to talk to them as im no good at talking to farmers and the police and such more shout and ball at them lol so im told to stay put as all ways

 

Turns out it was the other farmers wife on the other 2000 acre farm any way vis got it sorted and off we went to the barns for the feral pigeons

 

Now vis is like lightening when it comes to shooting pigeons its hard to get a shot away for him

but i did get four and vis well we lost count but most fell in with the cows and we could not retrieve them .

 

Then we went for a wander around the fields not much about and what was we could not get close to them off like a shot as soon as the beam hit them i got a few shots away but missed hey ho you cant get them all

 

but it was good to get out in fact it was fecking great to get out

 

did not get a photo of the rabbit as the phone was acting its self but did manage to get two of the ferals before it went blank again

I still can't understand why the boys in blue never even checked in the jeep, or looked at the guns, they had a bit banter and off to check with the farmers wife who phoned them ! Followed by me to bollock her lol

Nice one, what guns are you using mac, i havent been out for about 3 weeks, cant wait to get off to do a bit of shooting or ferreting

Iv not got the old raider that went ages a go but i do have another but im not jelling with it at the moment but i will in the end lol its 22 as well

At least you got out , i haven't been out for about 4 weeks now with work and this bloody opp and can't see me getting out for another two weeks and then i have got to take it easy .

When is viz picking up the HW100k.177 ? ,once he shot that there will be no going back

Tell viz to try JSB heavies 10.3gr but at the moment i am using AA Express 7.9 , my good these are good even at long range and even in wind

That night out is much better than nothing,seems a few of us can't even get out I'd be happy to go out and blank! Quite a bit going on by the sound of it,a night to remember and laugh about before long...

Some of the fields you don't need boots you need a wet suit and a fecking boat

 

but we are lucky the 5000 acres is mostly on hills your ok until you get to the bottom lol
