dare 1,103
Vets near me has people coming from all over to use it. Thought dog might have something stuck down her ear. Turnt out was just abit waxy and got some drops to clear it up. While there also got her wormed and flead even though usually do that at home. Reason is when i asked how much itll cost the vet popped the head out the door. Said his busy n wont get to have lunch yet, pop over to the cafe and well call it a coffee and ill flea n worm her too. Cant get better than that can ya lol. Real nice bloke too was talking about how shit the kennel club are n state of some breeds. The other vet who works there was in my classes at school. Was a nerdy little ugly thing but i used to talk to her just through mutal love of animals. Would make sure none of my loud mate would take the piss out of her type thing aswell. Know i aint her dad but felt quite happy seeing she had done what she said she always wanted to do.

CushtyJook 1,097
My mate married a gypsy girl and in the wedding In a big welfare hall at about 2 in the day.it kicked off they were down 1 end of the hall and we were up the other end. And they showed how hard they all are by flipping tables and snapping the legs off. Gypsy men marrying Gorgio women isn't as much as a taboo as a Gorgio man marrying a gypsy woman I should imagine the wedding wouldn't of been enjoyable and ild be suprised it got to the wedding stage without the brothers and fathers locking the girl away for good lol I been to a wedding of a gypsy man marrying a non gypsy women and even then travellers where on there own tables it was completely separate event pretty muchThat sort of backward and insular behaviour is stereotypical of travellers. What I find funny is when they get all aggreived at not being treated the same as other folks (e.g, your mate Tyson) when they are clearly not the fcuking same. It's more about keeping the culture you'll find the same with Asian communities African tribes etc

But that's just my opinion. got to say I kinda agree with you on arranged marriage but disagree with you saying folk are backward or insular because they prefer the sons or daughters to marry someone from their own community ( just because some parents prefer it doesn't mean the children have to ) . I know many travellers that have married non travellers as we are free to choose whomever we want lol . Edited December 29, 2015 by marshman

Fair point, maybe that was a bit strong but it was in response to a comment about fathers and brothers locking up girls to stop them marrying the person of their choosing. I'm a believer that we all pass this way only once, and no-one, family or not, has the right to exert that kind of influence over another person's life.
