Prosport 22

Oh how I wish this rifle was available in a proper left hand version. I'd have two in both calibres, but, a .22 for all ro9und work would be the apple of my eye.

Air Arms seem to really cocked this up, with only a limited run a few years ago of left handed stocks set-up with right handed actions. They were all snapped up fast and that should have told Air Arms something. Alas they do not appear to have listened!

It's the Prosport's walnut stock that makes the appearence of the rifle so beautiful to look at and has a balance that perfectly suits the rifle's handling. Even shooting a few right hander Prosoprts was a pleasure to me. The forend particularly was a pleasing hand rest. If a rifle looks right, it handles right!

I know Custom Stock of Sheffield are very nice and make their stocks to fit but, that's not what I want here. .

S'not fair! :cray: :cray: :cray:

Iv told you before Simon if i ever win the lotto there will be a lefty coming down to you one way or the other

Even if iv got to get a custom stock made in exactly the same stile as the original but in a left hand stock

Iv not forgot-on mate i made a promise to you and if it happens i will get it sorted

PS, hope you and your good lady had a good Xmas and have a better new year

Dear 'Mac.

You have a heart of solid old sir, you really do. I've seen the kind deeds and turns you've done for some of the lads here so, I have absolutely no doubt you are a man of your word and would do exactly that!

As it is we had a lovely Christmas here mate, just me and Helen and our three little kittens. They are rescues from some heartless b@stard who dumped their mother cat and her 5 little babies out into a truck park. presumably, this was intended to dispose of them in some bloody disgusting way.....Luckily, there were kind hearted folk there who got hold of Lincoln cat rescue and they were saved. We took the last three and they all now have loving homes. It's their first Christmas and we are not having them put in a cattery or have someone come look after them while we go away.

It's been magic this Christmas and they had a lovely day with us.

I enjoy my hunting and everything, out in the fields with my rifle and a pack-up of a bit of grub, but I cannot abide cruelty to a small defenceless animal like a little dog or a cat. Makes my blood boil!

It's lads like you Mac and the rest of the good lads here that remind me that there are more good folk than evil out there.

All the very best to you and your family mate and wishing you a very happy and prosperous new year 2016.

Simon and Helen xx
