Rabid 1,936
Have we a result Rabid?? Are you hallucinating, getting stomach cramps, poisoned or enjoying the blueit Yes Jok, you was bang on the money, checked a few more and found the lilac stems, not only that, I found a whole heap more further across the field, must have. At least 200 in one spot, happy days.
jok 3,199
Damned good find, in my opinion. I use them in all my pies if I can find them. Not done anyone any harm as of nowThis warm spell has made a difference though.
Rabid 1,936
Had some tonight, real nice, beat the normal field ones I get, how long they likely to stay about and can they be eaten any age ? I have what looks like quite a few more still coming through, but they have a much more button like cap, and some about 100mm across and the larger ones like I posted, they are probably 200/250 across, they are proper chunky things as well, it's a bloody great plateful in itself. Blooded 62
Field Blewit for sure, an easy one as there are no close lookalikes in Britain. Don't taste quite as good when they've fully opened on top according to some, I can't taste the difference. Atb.
