Bloody sitting here watching the whippet licking a cut and cursing myself for not having a stapler. One being bought this week for sure !

 

 

Wee bugger will be getting his muzzle on for a night or two.

A lamp shade type collar certainly helps with dogs licking and chewing at wounds/staples.

I carry nothing I should really even if its a real basic kit I just risk it the same as I do going on to land I'm not permitted an every time I go out working the dog its all a risk

It's easy enough just to throw a large wound dressing in your bag or coat pocket. You don't really need much else. Anything else you can do at home or at the car.
