Couldn't Wait To Try My New Lamp

Recommended Posts

Well I got a surprise of Santa the clulight 500 cordless any way couldn't wait so off I went with blade and Molly , I love been out just before sunrise so at 5am off we went arrived for 5:30 to me this is the best time as you get to see the the wildlife come alive and some go to sleep, I hadn't even walked half way around the first field when I could see in the full moon light two good size deer grazing beside the tree line blade been a good lad done his little dance around wanting and waiting for my command but not this time , got too the first field I wanted to try and trying my best to keep both blade and Molly running out into the field as it's very rare they are on the lead , lamp on ,two rabbits sitting near the wall in a flash blade took one before it new what was going on and seemed to pass it to Molly and took the second just before it made its escape through the wall the next one came from blade taking it without the lamp so not a lot to say about it with the moon just about to go down and the beam not as bright with day light on the rise a long run up the field to make it 4 but at this point Molly was hanging around me so put the lamp on her to see a rabbit sitting tight so I give her a little squeak and she bounced out the ferns and nailed it not bad for a JackRussell with the day light rising fast headed back to the car for blade to take two more and ended this beautiful Christmas morning with seven in 2:30 hours and my new lamp well it's definitely better than debens but need a better test thanks for reading and a very merry Christmas to you all atb mark

Nice read that.

I took my clulite out had it going for 10 mins turned it of walked up to a nice paddock for rabbits..turned it on spotted a bunny, just walking the my young bitch up to it and the light went out and hasn't worked since. Checked power to leads going into the globe and its there so guessing its the globe. I'll send it back to England and see if they can fix it. Shame as I'm going foxing this WK and was looking forward to giving it a good test. ah well looks like I'll be lugging a battery around again!

A few people I know have said the same, so I always ask did you try to adjust the beam zoom in or out the answer is always the same "yes why" that's your problem you can not adjust them and the wires are delicate so please don't twist the lens head
