jacknife 2,005
What sort of live you get out of your rechargeable batteries I'm using Ansmann with the Ansmann charger but in less than a year they only last about 10 mins after a full charge in my pulsar scopes
Tremo 138
10 minutes you say? I use Duracells (2400mAh) and I don't get a problem with them in any of my gear. I always take spares of course for the longer trips.
David.evans 5,323
If your looking at AA batterys , I use the ones from maplins at 2700 mAh , they last about 4 1/2 hours in my pulsar And the same as tremo , take a spare set just in case ! Atb

Digby 5
I highly recommend Panasonic Eneloops LSD batteries and either a Technoline BL700 charger, i bought mine from Battery Logic or a Nitecore digicharger D4, from Torch Direct, both are really good places to buy from. I always take a spare set of 4 AA batteries out in the field. Working time depends on what they are used in + how long. Up to 500 or 2100 recharges, so good value. ATB. Digby 5
I forgot to add, i prefer the LSD ( Low Self Discharge ) batteries, as they retain power for longer, % power after a year once charged + unused - whereas a normal rechargeable battery will loose all its power a lot sooner. IanB 0
I use these https://www.7dayshop.com/products/7dayshop-aa-ni-mh-high-performance-rechargeable-batteries-2900-8-pack-2x4-WH2-DS-102 you do get the odd duff battery, I think certain battery chargers, especially the faster chargers kill batteries quicker, the duralocks are meant to be pretty good too.
