philpot 5,005
I saw the shroud Si Pittaway had fitted by Ratworks, very very quiet. To be honest it was the shot count that always put me off the Ultra and I did have a chat with Phil at Ratworks to build a gun for me. Never actually actually shot one but picked them up many times in the shop, feel spot on. Phil Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,558
Have a real good day with your Grand Son Mac - you`ll get "converted" even more! Why on earth don`t the manufacturers take on board the improvements being made to these guns - by these lads making good livings because of the inabilities of those " that matter" to these companies. 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,558
Absolutely ! Money, bigger income, poorer product,( we are getting away with it attitude) lads like these step in and put right the things these companies are "fully aware of" and it is "very wrong" . atb 1 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,005
They don't spend the money to make a good rifle great because they sell too many rifles to people who are not members of any forum so are not likely to know that modifications can make such a difference. Just as an example, I know 4 people who own airguns and would never think of joining a forum.........thhe perfect customer... Phil Quote Link to post
