Compatto Again

All i can say is ,Phil go out and buy one and do us a proper report on it , dont just trust the mags and what you see on the internet ,as most will have some reward for the good comments ,if you know what i am saying !!!

If I do buy one of these guns, you can be rest assured that I will do a review, warts and all.

 

At this stage, I will be happy to just get my hands on one to feel what is is like in the shoulder and take it from there. To be very honest, I would buy an Hm 1000 if I could afford one but the old pension doesn't go that far and that has to be one of my considerations for my next gun. God, I do sound like an old fart but I have just come in from a 5 mile walk so not completely knackered just yet.

Just read this on another forum

A guy on the vermin Huter TV forum got one and said his was crap, rang up to get it sorted and complained about the after sales service and attitude then to cap it all they sent the wrong size mag out to him lol

 

So it seems to me Daystate is still the same old daystate , all though we had a bloke who came on here months ago , claiming he will help to change daystate attitude and QC, funny how we never heard any more from him ,as he lives in France now

Like I said it's a marmite thing,your vermin isn't going to be bothered whether it's dispatched with a Gamo or a Daystate ,lol.

And using H&NFTT they group very well.

 

And VM there is a good reward,as one of the test rifles are going to be raffled of ,for our charity.

But what you will see is honesty,and a decent review of the compatto's ability.

Davy i dont think its a go at you bud your shooting is at legendary status and what you and si do for our lads in and out of the arm,d forces speaks for its self mate

 

not to mention what you two have done for us in the air gun world

 

But VM had a few bad run ins with daystate over his brand new Regal and if memory serves me right it was only a few days old and day state say,d it was his fault and wanted x number of £ off him to fix it and they were lets say not very nice to him on the phone

 

Then Simon (pianoman) had more or less the same with his brand new Regal to and more or less the same after sale service on the phone

 

But then again i was shooting David Evans,s wolf when he came up here for the week end and what a rifle it was hitting bolt heads out to 65 yards (used a range finder to get the distance) and hit them with every shot every one of them

 

I think its like every thing else Davy if you get a good one your ok but if its a bad apple then it leaves a bad taste in your mouth

 

Tell Si im asking after him and both you and your family's have a belter new year

I wasn't having a go at VHTV , I hold a lot of respect for both of you , they are other vids out on you tube as well but it seems nobody cant turn round and say a negative thing about a gun they reveiw

Perhaps if the magazines and youtube channels came out and said , only if this mag .barrel , shroud ,or trigger for example could be modified ,surly that should be a good thing for the manufacture

I believe BSA listened to feed back with the ultra having a bolt , r10 having a short barrel

Davy, I do hope you will do a honesty review including any bad bits of the gun , as we all no every gun has it's faults and that includes the HW100 , Many hold this gun as one of the best and i am one of them !!!
