davyt63 1,845
quote. Guys after the review,it will be a rifle for air gun enthusiasts to consider. It already is Davy. It is a pity I live so far away because I would sneak down to your club to beg a shot or two. Really looking forward to hearing more but already sound like it ticks some of my boxes. Phil Showing a rifle that groups at 25 yds,in a review Phil,is not doing it justice really! Hence my quote. Your more than welcome ,next time you sneak out, lol. Quote Link to post

villaman 9,983
Philpot , i don't know why you are so obsessed with this gun Quote Link to post
philpot 5,037
If it works, I don't care who made it, it may fit the bill so I will keep an open mind and wait to see the outcome. Phil 2 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,037
VM, I don't really know, there is just something about this gun I really like as I do with a few guns, not just this one. I love my HW but I want a .22 and possibly a different make. I liked the older Brococks for the handling but the shot count was rubbish. Confined areas ratting comes to mind, it won't be the first time I am wrong about something and I'm sure as hell it won't be the last but I need to get this out of the thinking one way or another. Phil Dont get me wrong ,I like this gun but Why didn't the make a shroud to work as a silencer ,soon as you put a silencer on this gun it makes it to long and may be alter the balance , why not put a reg in instead of Harper valve system ,which i find awful , the mag sticks up to much and its not the best mag after all its a regal done cheaper and that's a GOOD thing . It's been put on the market to compete with the BSA ultra /scorpion AA s410 and i know where my money would go to !!! This is my opinion Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,562
The major downside for this rifle is as already said "Daystate" and "reliability". Daystate`s after sales is legendary - fecking appalling ! I would not consider anything from Daystate, not from todays manufacturing standards from them. 2 Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Looks gentelmen have little to do with performance in the hunting field, they have put that plastic stock on it, to keep costs down, simple as that, if it had some exquisite walnut stock on it,the price would be closer to a grand than six hundred quid,I am not a fan of synthetic stocks, however from a practical point of view, you wont cry about catching it on a barbed wire fence etc. 2 Quote Link to post
