philpot 5,005
I must confess this gun just seems right but we will get a better picture over the coming weeks as Si and Davy have both got one for testing and Si has bought his judging by the video. Phil Quote Link to post

philpot 5,005
It clearly is not a thing of beauty but it appears to be a work tool and for vermin shooting where it may well get knocked about around farm buildings etc, perhaps this gun will fit the bill. I am really looking forward to the feed back and vid from the boys to see what they think. I think it is fair to say that both Si and Davy are far better shots than I will ever be so I will take it as read that they will make them sing but I DON'T believe they will say they are good if the guns are crap. If I get one, I will have it dipped anyway as I don't care for black stocks, just wish I could try one somewhere. Phil Quote Link to post
bigmac 97kt 13,800
The thing is Phil its not a brocok its made in a daystate factory so will have problems and we all now that there having problems with there rifles and they all ways put the blame on to the customer not them self's do you now how much there going to be I bet its around hw100 money or more so why not just get a hw100 or a ultra there try,d and tested on all kind of vermin its a no brainer impo atvbmac  Quote Link to post
philpot 5,005
They are £589 Mac so a good saving on the HW. I am just keeping an eye on this gun and see what sort of feed back comes from different people. Had it got all the electronic stuff that some Daystates have, I wouldn't even consider it. I have no intention in jumping in to get one and may well finish up with another HW but in .22 this time. I think I have to keep an open mind until I'm ready to actually buy the next gun. The power adjustment interests me particularly if I go the FAC route. Phil Edited December 23, 2015 by philpot 1 Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
Hi guys It's like marmite you will like it or hate it. They have changed the cocking slot on it,they no longer cock like an old ford cortina,up back down,it's simple now up and back, nice a smooth to. It has three power levels high 11.5/11.7 Medium 10.5/9.5 Low 6.5/5.5 And after testing it in the man cave yesterday,on the skan chronograph,120 shots all in the green, that's 12 mags, medium power is the same, low power is about 180 shots. Filled from 200 bar & shot down to 90 bar. It's threaded to take a silencer, but imo it don't need it,as the shroud dose a good job. The magazine cycles very well, but the pellets have to be seated correctly, just like most mags.cocking cycle and mag cycle are smooth. It groups under a 5p coin ,using H&NFTT so no problems with accuracy. Trigger is two stage adjustable, but I find the trigger setting is personal preference. Also comes with picitiany rail for swivels, and has a pre drilled butt stud hole. Guys after the review,it will be a rifle for air gun enthusiasts to consider. 1 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,005
quote. Guys after the review,it will be a rifle for air gun enthusiasts to consider. It already is Davy. It is a pity I live so far away because I would sneak down to your club to beg a shot or two. Really looking forward to hearing more but already sound like it ticks some of my boxes.
