Tipping The Postman

Recommended Posts

No, not like cow tipping.

Where we lived before, the gormless twat of a postman managed to ensure most of our post was wet, damaged, or went to the wrong address, so tipping him at Xmas never crossed my mind.

Now we have a great postman (postlady actually) who goes out of her way and drives up to our door to post stuff if the weather's bad and it would get wet in the postbox. Is it the done thing in the sticks to give the postie a drink at Xmas and if so, what sort of amount would be considered decent?

Ta.
