walshie 2,804
No, not like cow tipping. Where we lived before, the gormless twat of a postman managed to ensure most of our post was wet, damaged, or went to the wrong address, so tipping him at Xmas never crossed my mind. Now we have a great postman (postlady actually) who goes out of her way and drives up to our door to post stuff if the weather's bad and it would get wet in the postbox. Is it the done thing in the sticks to give the postie a drink at Xmas and if so, what sort of amount would be considered decent? Ta.

Astanley 11,568
Dont know about tipping but I have often thought about slapping the horrible fker we,v got , if there is a parcel to be delivered he will knock and Im sure he runs away ,no matter how quick you answer the door all thats there is a note to pick it up at the office , he bends xmas and birthday cards to post them ,even though he doesnt have to ,wet and torn mail is routine ,but worse of all he is ugly ,and I mean really fkn ugly ,not just your average Tomo /Gnasher type ugly , but absolutly repulsive , a real traumatic sight first thing in the morning .
gnipper 6,484
I'm sure the b*****ds round here wait till you go out to deliver your parcels. Gotta go to the main depot tomorrow to pick up 3 parcels. And the one in Bude that keeps robbing my nieces and nephews cards wants knee capping.
downsouth 7,307
I don't give a tip for the postman and especially not for the binmen the lazy twats won't even take the wheelie bin if the lids not completely shut and when they do take it they leave it 20yds down the road. They get paid for what they do.No one gives me a tip for going to work everyday in all weathers.
