hmmmmmm just sell your catch....that way your a commercial man...as seeing as thou you are using a unpowerd vessle in this case no vessle quota and registration laws are dam near non applicable....loopholes are their to be used...just gota jump high enugh to get thru them

I was in sunderland yesterday,under the town bridge,theres been an otter sighted there in daylight recently on several occassions,quite a few boats moored up,i was chatting to a couple of lads,i am sure they said a private boat is allowed 100 yards of net and 10 pots?Not many bass up there though.

You can still fish for them, but it has to be catch and release, so if you are mainly targeting other species I see no problem, just if you get a bass as a by catch it is supposed to go back !

no style about it.....a lot of people use loopholes to get away with shit....the powers that be will do it to srew you over if you know as much of the law as them then like i say...jump highenugh to get thru the loopholes :thumbs: just keep ya self squeeky clean...because they will drop on you for anything...as will HMRC

Totaly right PK,i net in your county sometimes hydro and i walk the nets out and need no quota or licence to sell what i catch as i walk out and set the nets without a boat( the powered vessel) :victory: ..

Just looked into it a bit more ,looks like you won't be able to keep any bass next year until July and then limited to three

the limit is set at one fish mate after june . catch and release up to then. its a load of shit. the commercial gill netters can still take 1300 kg per month each all year so you will be chucking them back for them to catch.
