king 11,972
Just been reading a few articles on giving dogs creatine. Have you ever heard of someone doing this and did they see results. I wouldn't use it for my dogs. But it seems like it is used quite a lot in weight pulling dogs. Quote Link to post

Just curiousI've only really just seen a few articles on giving creatine to dogs mate.and don't know anyone who uses it for canine use.I don't know if it's safe for dogs or any long term negative effects etc. I've just read a few posts on a greyhound forum and it seems to be used. What sort of results did you see ? Quote Link to post

slip lead 862
Most greyhound trainers use it, and it works, E, B and c C to boost E and b to help remove ( like clinker in a boiler) Edited to add white E can not be taken with anything containg iron, or it will not work,so 6-7 hour before or after food. downsouth 7,217
I know when I used it myself years ago it played my guts up terrible.I wouldn't fancy giving it to a dog myself as a dog can't tell you how it's making it feel. For keeping a hard working lurcher in tip top nick I'd stick to a good quality balanced diet plenty of varied exercise and rest when needed. 15 Quote Link to post

I've read up about it giving people upset stomachs ds.but never heard of anyone using it for dogs until j1985 said he has used it.i can see its appeal though if it aids recovery. Quote Link to post
