Andy Lee V Billy Joe Saunders

Recommended Posts

i do think eubank is an exciting, good boxer who will become a world champion some day. his hardest obstacle is his farther. no disrespect intended but senior needs to take a backward step and let the trainers do their thing with the young lad. great prospect he is.

on the other hand what an inspiration to have such a great fighter as your dad

Same opinion as me. I dont like him because of his dad on weigh in and ring walks and in corner etc. Plus Eubank jr is overly arrogant, he can be arrogant whe HE had earned it, not his dad!

Spot on with that comment its the difference between young men who want to be famous and young men who want to be boxing champions.........no razzmatazz no attention seeking gypsy warrior nonsense Bil

Just google watch the Lee v Saunders fight for free and sift through the streams,i've never paid to watch anything on sky sports or ppv ..

if lee gets his feet planted he can spark him.

theres bigger fish to fry now for billy, eubanks will have to climb the ladder for his chance like everybody else.

Name the fish fella because in 6 months Eubank will be the biggest thing in this division, then he will go up and up and rule next two divisions aswell. Im not a Eubank fan, but I am a boxing fan, if saunders will take Eubank on the it wouldnt be a repeat of first meeting.

BJS has won a version of the world title now in a close match up with Lee,Eubank needs to do the same and then they can fight again later down the line.BJS has fought better fighters than Eubank and Eubank has looked good so far but against limited opposistion.Eubank doesnt box good enough to beat BJS but he could out work him in a rematch as BJS clearly slows down later in a fight.Just need to see now which way both there careers go .

Yes big money in yankee land for him but if he can beat eubank why not do that first? Id actually like him to do just that, eubank to much up his own backside for my liking. BJS seems pretty down to earth with it all.

Cagey fight, great win for Saunders.Lee showed heart coming back from the knock downs, seen fights stopped for less. If BJ stays in that shape then should go onwards and upwards  BJ boxed clever  .

Cagey fight - yes

great win for saunders - yes

great come back - yes

lee showed heart - yes

seen fights stopped for less - yes

onwards and upwards?????? Did you see Eubank last week? Dont like Eubank but he is fu*king good.

And before people jump in I know billy beat him before but that wasnt the same Eubank there is now.

In the morning I am putting money on Eubank v BJSaunders on Joshuas undercard in April.

And on Eubank to win by KO

I must be the only person who thought Eubank was on poor form last saturday night.

I think eubank Jr. Is a very talented lad but in the last fight against Saunders he totally dismissed / advice of Ronnie Davis of i remember right he told him to shut up when he was clearly losing the fight I mean who whuldent want all that experience in Ther corner I think he's a arrogant little prick but a talented one

Brilliant win he boxed perfectly to the plan Jimmy set i thought Billy should of had enough confidence in his own chin to open up and really try to get him out after the knockdowns but then thats why Jimmy Tibbs is a top trainer and im not :D.......Lee had the reach and power advantages but Saunders overcame that by working his upper body into positions to steal space and exploding forward with his jab......along with his sound defence he has always had good reactions and sees things quickly the way he closed the space, rolled and threw the jab/hook was what got Lee down in the first place.....i feared he would let his heart rule his head in the following rounds and have a tear up but again,Jimmy instills such discipline in his fighters they can box to a plan for as long as their conditioning will allow.........shame about the fat little f****r Mitchell Smith big eye opener for that young man !

Good night of boxing in all, atmosphere could have been better but great result, very classy guy that Andy Lee and as for the trainers theres one for the old school !

Gnash watched an interview with BJ last night post fight and BJ said Lee caught him with a good shot on the chin whilst trying to finish him. Just shows the heart Lee has, he wasn't going down without giving it his all. That punch changed BJ's tactics because he knew then not to rush in because Lee still had the power to take him out.

You where right gnash it was fascinating battle between cornermen and Jimmy Tibbs always knew BJ was winning.

At the end of the day BJ is Gypsey boy so whoever puts the most queens heads down he will fight. Said he would fight GGG for 5-6 million. Says in reality he would need another 18 months to gain the experience.

I like both fighters and the build up to this fight there was nothing but respect shown. Should be a great 2016 for British boxers, promoters and trainers and long may it continue.

So, we are only a few months away now.  Providing everything's ok with the site owners, we should be making our annual pilgrimage on Friday 19th to Monday 22nd of August.
Who's coming besides Dido and Lurcherman Kev?
      Cheers, D.

The government are going to reduce the size of the bbc, you will have to subscribe to watch it.
That will teach the greedy c-u-n-t’s for wanting to charge the elderly for a license

Having a bit of insomnia at minute so settled down to watch a miniseries about 9 ish
nearly finished it in one go , the devil next door tells the true story of the prosecution of a former nazi war criminal who was an all American guy working in ford auto plant in Cleveland Ohio
very reminiscent of the 80s film music box which it must surely be the root of.
      Gripping watch, totally enthralling
