lifelong cumbrian 1,826
I have a first x and a 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington. I would go for the 3/4 the half bred has good drive, good nose but lacks pace, if i was getting a bedlington x now i would go for a bedlington grey type or maybe a beddy whippet over a greyhound as i think 1/4 bedlington is probably enough. Just my personal opinion though. 5 Quote Link to post

alun1960 234
Was just gifted a beddyXwhip X greyhound pup to replace my old lurcher 3/4grey 1/4deer, we have bedyXwhip and beddyXgrey and 5 beddys so im a bit biased. Ist cross is not the done deal i like a bit more runner in my view. Quote Link to post
Somewhereyournot 1,117
You can forget getting a good all rounder from a whippet or a whippet beddy. Out of the two xs u mentioned I'd say a pure whippet would be closer to a rounder being faster and taller. Whippets have plenty of guts Quote Link to post
buster gonads 862
Whippet out of the 2 mentioned, but personaly i,d go either Beddy x GH or 3/4 Whippet 1/4 Beddy, either of these from the right stuff should make useful dogs. If just as an general purpose Rabbit dog the 3/4 would and has been my choice, good luck with what ever you go for. Quote Link to post
